Halit İslam EKMEN
Halit İslam EKMEN started his professional career in 2014 at the Tax Inspection Board, where he served as a Tax Inspector in the Ankara and Istanbul Large Taxpayers Group Presidencies and the Istanbul Sectoral-1 Audit Department.
He graduated in 2013 from the Faculty of Political Science, Department of Business Administration, Istanbul University. In 2020, he received his Master’s degree from the Marmara University Department of Finance, Financial Law Program, with a thesis titled "Taxation in Airline Passenger Transportation." He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at City University of London – Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School), which he began in 2023.
During his tenure as a Tax Inspector, Ekmen gained extensive experience auditing large and medium-sized companies across various sectors. Since 2019, he has specialized in the Banking and Finance Audit Group as part of his sectoral expertise. He has also participated in various inspection activities and conducted audits in the MASAK and compliance inspections.
From 2019 to 2021, Halit İslam Ekmen served on the board of directors of the Finance Audit Personnel Association, established by Tax Inspectors, and from 2021 to 2023, he held the position of President of the association.
Ekmen is a Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and speaks English.
